Anne Willan is the founder of École de Cuisine La Varenne, one of the most famous cooking schools in the world. Considered by many as the English version of Julia Child, Anne is the author of popular cookbooks, including her latest, Women in the Kitchen, which traces the origins of American cooking through profiles of 12 essential women cookbook writers.
