Dear friends, we are bringing back two great chefs for two great classes this year. Class is held in an intimate setting with no more than 15 students per session. Enjoy food, drink and plenty of up close time with the chef. You will take home written recipes as well as a personal gift from Anne. This will be the only series we offer in 2014, so reserve your seat now as space is limited!
On May 31st, Alain Giraud will join us for a seasonally inspired class on Provencal-California inspired cuisine. Alain spent 15 years cooking in some of the best restaurants in France before earning an unprecedented five-star review from the Los Angeles Times for his work at Bastide. He now makes light and creative Provencal-style food at his own restaurant, Maison Giraud, in Pacific Palisades. To sign up call 310.396.7464 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
On June 21st, La Varenne is delighted to welcome back Josie Le Balch for an intimate class featuring the summer’s finest ingredients. Josie’s has worked in Ma Maison with Wolfgang Puck and L’Ermitage with Jean Bertranou. She was head chef at the Saddle Peak Lodge in L.A., and went on to open Remi in Santa Monica. Her restaurant Josie in Santa Monica has been consistently named one of the best restaurants in Los Angeles. She will be teaching a five course meal featuring the freshest market ingredients (she raises her own hens). To sign up call 310.396.7464 or email email@example.com
