Heritage Culinary Artifacts in Napa has quite a collection of culinary curiosities. I’ve never seen a sandwich quite so large as the one they had hanging in the store! The signing there was a wonderful excuse to spend a day driving through the wine country, seeing friends like Ben Kinmont, an exceptional seller of antiquarian books on food and wine.

The giant sandwich I am modeling as a necklace causes much comment at Heritage Culinary Artifacts. It’s not for sale!
