Since Mark and I moved to Los Angeles, we’ve always enjoyed going to Culinary Historians of Southern California meetings, so it was a treat to talk to the group. Amazing that so many people turned out (at least 150!) on a sunny Saturday afternoon in L.A. for my Cookbook Tree presentation tracing how various genres of cookbooks developed over the centuries.
